Going from D1 to D2 tomorrow... PLEASE follow!

Hey guys, so tomorrow I will be getting the Droid 2. I bought the Droid 1 about 14 days ago, so I am still under the 30 days, so I will have to pay the restocking fee to get the new Droid, which is perfectly fine with me.

Wanted to just write so people could follow, your inputs, suggestions, conversations, anything would be greatly welcomed and appreciated

Thanks . I wanted to go this morning to get it, but my friend says they open the store at 10am, I work at 1030am :-(. So ill have to get it after work.

I'm worried it'll be sold out, but I read that they're not expecting it to sell out.

Do you plan on getting the D2?

OK so I got my phone, I like it so far. The keyboard I will need to get use to since it is a lil more spread out than the D1. I do have some questions though.

The Launcher icons at the home screen on the bottome (the Phone, then Arrow for the Drawer) and then the Person for the contacts, is there a way to change them? I want to make the Contacts into a Messages icon.

So far so good, really like the phone. Not sure if I am a big fan of the new keyboard, I guess I finally got use to the D1 keyboard. This thing is lighting fast though.

Question...

My Tapatalk... for some reason I cannot add the widget to the home screen, when I try to add it, it says "Nothing to update", it won't even let me add the icon to my home screen. Any input?

I'd recommend downloading Launcher Pro from the marketplace. It is significantly faster than the stock Motorola one and way more configurable. You can have five icons at the bottom dock that are fully customizable. It's the first thing I do with each new phone.
