I don't agree.
Smartphones are not investments. They are perishable pieces of technology.
Same! I put a ring popsocket type thing on it and I'm in love!Caseless here and loving it!
My camo will get here in 7-10 daysI have the Spigen carbon case on mine which I absolutely love, and yesterday when I dropped my phone down some metal stairs, 1.5 flights to be exact, it really paid off. Not a scratch luckily enough. But I'm seriously tempted to get the black camo dbrand skin, looks so nice. and I agree, you forget how nice this phone feels without a case on it.
Obviously phone s are not "investments"
But by getting a much back for one, significantly reduces the price of your next phone. So why spend $900 and end up chipping and scratching it all up thus getting next to nothing back for it.
So $20 worth of protection can equal hundreds of dollars.
How do you protect the pixel 2xl so well? I've babied mine and kept it in tech 21 evo case with a tempered glass screen protector, and there's already dust and micro scratches on the back glass. I also clean it with a micro fiber cloth. This thing seems to scratch easily, and I've had it since late Jan, and I don't know if anyone will have a mint-condition phone in 1 or 2 years. The nexus 6p also was a dust magnet on the visor, causing very few micro scratches.
I say just use the damn thing and if it breaks replace it. That's why I always get the insurance. Drive it like you stole it baby! Lol
That's probably because you stole it.....lol
Investment Banker by day, phone thief by night lol
I actually had a discussion on Facebook about whether to keep my insurance on my naked Pixel or get a case and drop the insurance. The majority of people commenting on my list were saying get a case and drop the Insurance but I'm still torn. I just love the feel of this phone sans sans case!
Have mine in a Seidio case, fo resale value.
