It's an opinion. The way you're saying that Android is better sounds like you're projecting it as a fact.

What annoys me is that you said that RIGHT AFTER I included an "IMO" in my statement. Removing all doubt that it was an opinion.

It doesn't matter how I state it. I'm allowed to do that. I should not have to add "IMO' after every single sentence. It's implied. Unless I am actually saying "This is an objective fact", you should be assuming, by default, that it's an opinion.

I used an iPhone 4S for about a year and thought it was the best possible device besides the small screen size. I switched to Android for the larger screen and realized it had all the functionality as my iPhone but had better navigation because of the larger screen and better pics and vids by far. Everyone's making a big deal over the iPhone 6 and 6+, but let's face it. In terms of their new features, Apple's just catching up to what Android and Samsung already have. :-$

As a techy dude i honestly just want to try it so i can speak from experience on what i do and dont like... Most on AC are quick to bash Apple and love Android (me to) but the flip side of that is the same happens on iMore.. So i wanna see for myself.

I would wait for reviews of the iPhone 6. There may be issues, especially with the initial batch of devices. Read the reviews once more people actually get iPhones in their hands and use them in real-world situations.

If you must use something now, I would recommend getting an iPod Touch. You don't need a 2-year contract to get an iPod Touch, and you could probably trade it or sell it if you end up buying an iPhone later on. An iPod Touch doesn't have all the functions of an iPhone, but you can at least get a feel for iOS.

The biggest issue I see is iMessage. Some people have problems getting their text messages if they go back to Android because everything is stuck in iMessage. Of course, if you don't switch back to Android, then this is not a problem.

Well guys it's official! I'm trying my first iPhone... It's crazy, after my Dinc, Tbolt, motor Razr, GNEX, gs3,note2,gs4, htc m7,htc m8... I'm going to explore the other side my iPhone 6 is ordered... I still have my Gs3 and plan on selling my Gs4...so I'll still be on AC... I have to trade in my M8 on VZW edge sooo thats will be gone... But if i don't like iPhone 6 I'll be back on android full time once half my edge balance is paid in 12 mo.. But as a true smart phone lover... I have to do this... Ive had WP, BB, and Android... So iOS has to be explored too..i always said if Apple released a bigger screen then I'd try it... Soooo

White and silver 64g.. I probably would have got the black one if it wasn't on a delay... And i don't care for the gold one on the 6...it was ok on 5s

I hope you spend at least a month on it before defecting back to Android. Like just put away your Android device in a drawer for a month.

For sure... I'll probably use my android to download music and that's... My mom gave me her ipad mini last week so I plan to give it a true shot

We've known about this for years. The public is only now getting the memo because Apple's marketing is really really good. Putting out spin is what they do best, and they are better than anyone else at it. They have even tricked the courts before.

Thankfully that all seemed to finally change this year, and everyone else is actually catching on. Better late than never, but it is annoying that it took so long.

Yep... With the combination of the OS maturity of Android paired with an impressive lineup of devices, Apple can't get away with their usual tactics.

About a month ago, I was out and about and a friend who has been a long time iPhone guy saw my G3 and was stunned. He said he had no idea that Android phones were so nice. It was like those goofy Samsung ads played out in real life.

But we're all in for a real treat with Android L... Google is really hitting its stride now.
