Guys regardless why it happens could be coding to new 2.0 ui or whatever it is , some plugins still work and we just have to wait for the others to get updated .

You declared, explicitly and without knowledge of any facts, that the resources to develop Good Lock are "unnoticeable" simply because Samsung is so big.

You clearly don't have a grasp of how things like this work.

Not double tap (I always liked that feature, and my main home screen still as an empty space in it for that), but Good Lock does let you set up a custom navigation bar with Navstar--and one of the additional options is a "screen off" button you can add.

I used that religiously until the Android 10 update broke it all. Still waiting for Navstar to be updated to work.

I use Nova launcher to do this, albeit only from the home screen. Not everyone likes third party launchers for whatever reason, but it's an option worth considering.
