I think an important distinction needs to be made here... Sprint is not "upgrading" their network. They're replacing it.

It basically means the same thing... When I upgraded my video card on my PC sure I have to replace it.. But people usually just generalize it by saying "I'm upgrading my video card next week" since we know we can't just take it apart and invent a new card ourselves....

I realize it sounds like I'm splitting hairs, but I brought it up because I've heard many people speak as if they think that an antennae just needs to be adjusted.

It is a process many people (apparently not including you) are wholly ignorant on as to what exactly is being done.
