What we need is real AR glasses -- not glorified VR headsets with laggy video pass-through, which are maybe useful for multiple computer displays, and watching movies, but that's pretty much it.

Real AR glasses with cameras and mics whatever other sensors are the perfect UI for AI assistants. Ideally they wouldn't be much bigger than a pair of Oakley Holbrooks, or something like that.

I mean that would be cool but VR headsets with pass though are all we will get for at least 10 years probably closer to 30

Otherwise the glasses will be either too bulky or heavy or both for practical use

VR Headset have the advantage of being more acceptable to have large straps to distribute weight and giving more room for displays and lenses
