Google App Battery Usage and Keep Awake

I've noticed my Google App is using a non-normal amount of battery and is keeping the phone awake constantly.



Is the phone being "kept awake" constantly preventing Doze from kicking in? I've tried disabling some location-using Now Cards...it helped some but not totally.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Probably some bad data somewhere that is stuck.

I'd first try clearing the app cache (settings>>>apps, Google App, storage, clear cache).

Reboot.

If that doesn't help, goto the same screen and clear the data. You'll have to set the Google Now stuff up again....
