Google app notifications

For the google app I have sports show as pop-up notifications turned on. But never get notifications. What do I do?

No I still dont get popup notifications. I see a notification in the app though weirdest thing.

Try clearing the app cache for the Google app in Settings>Apps, then Force Stop it, and then open it again.

Tried that as well didnt work. I do though see movie notifications finance and weather notifications

Sometimes it takes a day or two for the notifications to kick in, so give it a little more time.

I'm only get badge notification. I app, not a popup notification. Waited a couple days nothing changed.

Yes the weather alerts and word of the day and news and tracking products.

No, in the google app.

I get it in the Pull Down notification panel, it comes from the Google app also from Now Brief

I believe what the OP wanted is a banner-style popup notification, though. Do you get those?

The only banner I get is in the Pull down notifications panel, status bar , Now Brief

Yeah, but "popup notification" means it should be a banner-style notification that appears at the top of the screen (i.e., not the notification bar), thus including more information.

It sounds like something that should be sent as feedback to Google from within the Google app's settings menu.
