So Google upped the ante on the Nexus 6 for Black Friday Weekend... They still have the 6 months unlimited music, but have now added:

Sadly, in speaking with a Play store rep, I was advised that while the 'Wednesday restock' language was removed from the site, they have been advised internally that that is still the primary intent for the Nexus 6. The promotion is available for those who might be able to initiate a purchase between 11/28-12/1 should a unit pop up, but generally speaking it's mostly only of benefit for those seeking a more commonly available Nexus 9 or Android Wear device.

Earlier today, when I heard about this promotion, the Play Store had all four North American variations of the Nexus 6 available but only briefly.

I think supply is starting to catch up with demand and the N6 will be readily available in a couple weeks.

The $50 Play Store credit isn't as valuable as a $50 discount but it's something.

I can't read what you posted in the app (even on my big N6 screen), but I'm surprised they are increasing promos around a phone they can't even keep in stock.

Basically, submit an order for select devices from 11/28 - 12/1 and get a $50 credit in your Google Wallet to spend at the Play store. It wasn't specific to the Nexus 6 ; it includes the Nexus 9 and Android Wear as well. Though given they have essentially no stock of the Nexus 6, they'd do well to simply not have included it in the promotion.
