I use Pure Calendar with Google Calendar. Syncs and works great.

You definitely don't need stock calendar. I delete every rom I flash. I got the calendar app working. It force closes when I try to select calendars in the settings. I can deal though. If anyone has any ideas that wouls be great.

Mike, have you tried checking out a system dump for one of the other phones and pulling the Calendar apk off?

That's the Nexus S dump, I don't know if it being Gingerbread will matter much, but you can try it.

i tried the one from asop v2. it works...ish. it force closes randomly.

Try jorte calendar... I use it instead of the stock calendar and it syncs with no issues. It is also free.

i have tryed it. its ok. its not that the stock doesnt work. i just don like it. i like how the goolgle calendar feels. the stock calendar works fine.

tried that one too. i like it. just not as much as the google calendar. i use buisness calendar beta instead of the stock. i like it. just not as much as google. i know im being unreasonable, but i just like the google calendar.

i've been wanting a better calendar experience, too, so i thought i'd try the business calendar beta based on your thumbs up and im liking it alot so far.

one of my biggest complaints with the stock calendar is that newly created events default to the "local" calendar and not your Google calendar, and there is no way to change this default.

this is easily set in business calendar beta. you can also easily access any other Google calendars you have access to, like my wife's for example.

so far, so good.

that is exactly why i dont like stock calendar! i have a work schedule that gets changed multiple times a day and to have to have to turn left three times jsut to go right sucks. beta is the next best thing to google calendar. and then its more of a look and feel thing.

have you tried Calendar Pad. I have been using that forever and it syncs immediately with Google Calendar, no problem

I'm using the LauncherPro version, paid and it seems to have the Google calendar, I also use the Smooth Calendar widget, it's showing my Google calendar info...
The Google calendar is my fav too, I tried several others.

the launcher widget uses whatever calendar is available on the rom. i also use launcher pro plus. i prefer the android agenda widget from the market.

ok so my online google calendar is just syncing to the calender that's on the phone, well... what do I know?!
