Google contact edit

I'm trying to change someone in my Google contacts home address. When I go to there contact app the address is there, when I hit edit, it is not there?? I log in to Chrome and go to contacts and it is not there. I went to my Verizon acct. and deleted it. I can't figure it out.

When you say you logged into Chrome and went to contacts, do you mean you went to the contacts.google.com site?

Yes, I go to contacts.google.com and it's not there. Open up the contacts app on my phone and the address is there but as soon as I click edit it's not there.

Ok, and can you confirm that the contact is associated with your Google account, and not your Samsung account or the local Phone account?

I just deleted the contact and re entered it in, I should have done that from the beginning.
