In order to further assist, can you share what sort of emails you are getting? Just sharing a screencap here will be fine.

Those are Watched threads and posts replies, so they would be adjusted here:

You can either disable the email notification, or stop watching the threads.



The automatic 'watching' of content you create can be adjusted here:

https://forums.androidcentral.com/account/preferences

But it sounds like you already did that, those were just left over from before you adjusted the setting.

PS: There's ALWAYS instructions at the bottom of the emails telling folks why the email was sent and how to disable it. It will have similar language to this:

I had already unchecked all you showed and saved it.
In order to stop getting them I had to also unwatch the threads I watched. Despite not having send email notifications checked I still got them. Now that it is unwatched I don't get the emails. It would be nice to be able to watch but not get email but I can't get that to work.

Now that it is unwatched I don't get the emails. It would be nice to be able to watch but not get email but I can't get that to work.

I suppose that depends on how you access the site really. The site allows you to watch a thread / forum and disable the email notification but if you're using the app or Tapatalk, that may override it and send its own.

As long as I don't also use the AC browser site I won't choose "watch" within AC so I shouldn't have a problem. For a month now I have used the net version so those threads that I chose "watch" may continue to send emails.

Tapatalk doesn't send me emails, only phone notifications.

Yeah by using the app just subscribe to what forums or topics and Tapatalk will give you notification and for site unsubscribe everything or uncheck
