Google Edition Doesn't save pictures to memory card

I got my GOOGLE PLAY (I9505G) version of he phone in December and struggled with the same issues. Within the 15 days I got the update notifications on the phone and did them and they rendered my S4 useless to write to the SD Card. They tried to blame the card so I took it to a local ATT store and the lady there had her ATT version of the S4 (dont know what ver of OS she was running) and the card worked fine. So Google replaced my phone and only told me they would replace the phone to me so I would go back to the original delivered OS of 4.2.2.

So here is some interesting facts also.

Google support pointed this hidden gem out to me after my 15 days was up on the return.

Well there is your lie. It is NOT the latest as of when I bought it and in fact when you try to update the latest it kills functions on the phone

Also there is more functions / settings missing on this phone for a standard S4 then we have. Have any friends who have the ATT or Verizon version? they seem to have about 2X as many settings. My favorite one I think is missing is the quiet time. You can set a time so the phone does not disturb you.

Sounds to me like a bunch of us got taken. Nice company. they get so big and screw the customer. Oh yes has anyone ever found the real manual for this phone? Only one I can find is on the Samsung site and that manual lists a boatload more in this phone that when I asked Google they sent me an email telling m a BS answer on how the phone is optimized so they removed all the extra stuff we dont need. And oh yes in an email they admitted that the memory write issue is a bug with no known fix.

Thank You Google. I know where next time I will not buy a phone. How to get screwed and played..

WARNING read this before you buy from Google an S4 Play edition of the phone. it is not a full version of the phone and it has memory write issues and it cannot be updated to any newer OS than 4.2.2... read this.

Advise any friends stay away from this phone.

so, do we have to all be techies in order to use these damn things or could it be that samsung and the rest just don't give a hoot, they're more interested in impressing themselves? Because most of this stuff is unintelligible to the average person. So why bother having it if you can't use it? I've seen tv sets come up in size for the past 10-12 years and I damn sure aint going to watch tv or anything else on a 2 inch screen. These things, for the most part, are not good for making phone calls, so really, why bother?
