Google email app won't auto complete contacts

I use the google email app on my nexus 7 2013 tablet. (not the gmail app, I think there is a difference). The app is linked to my hotmail account, I've had the tablet about 6 months, immediately linked the account, and have never had a problem with it.

For some reason, while checking email this morning, I noticed it would not auto complete my contacts when I started to type them in. I turned the tablet off and then on, and it didn't help. It was working fine last night. Anyone know what it might be?

Nevermind, I fixed it. I was messing around with chrome settings and synced something, so it unlinked my hotmail contacts. I checked the settings and reclicked sync contacts, haha.

I got in one of those moods this morning where i was going through all my apps fiddling around with the settings. I should probably recheck my google account and make sure it didn't post up all my personal info like google just loves to do.
