Google Home - Can I make it use an account other than my default?

I set up my thermostat on a different Google account as I didn't want everyone who wished to have access to it, to have my Google account on their phone. But now, on my watch, I'm not given the options to use any other account.

Is there a way around that?

You can share devices with Family Members/different accounts, you just need to create a Household and add the accounts you want to share with there (which maybe is what you should do with the thermostat and not the other way around...). Once the device is set up in your Google Account, go to the Home app, find the device, tap Settings and go to the Sharing option. There you can set up Household sharing as well.

Thanks for the tip! I got access to the thermostat on my watch, but the controls are pretty limited. I can adjust the temperature, but I can't change the mode between heating and cooling. I guess that's partially why Google plastered a "PREVIEW" label on every menu in the Home app.

Not sure if this is a Nest limitation or just how home automation on Android wearables works, but even if you add the Nest to your SmartThings account, the same thing applies on the watch: You can only see status and temperature, but not control the status of the thermostat (it prompts you to open the phone). Of course, you can always still control the device via voice commands on either service.
