Google Maps Location Calibration inconsistent

I just noticed how when I press on the blue dot and see the accuracy of my location is always on low or medium, rarely. I calibrate it by doing the 8 shape and it goes back to high but when I force close the app and later reopen it, it goes back to low. Is this an app or phone issue? Anyone else facing the same issue? I have the S21 Ultra US Unlocked model and i can't pull up the diagnostics menu thru the *# code to see if my sensor is working fine. Also I cleared GM's cache and data as well as the phones partition with no success.

Someone was complaining about auto rotate not working , possible update has to fix couple these bugs .
