Google Nexus 6 on Sprint

Did you preorder the sim? If so, can you verify the part number?

The sim part number for Sprint should be: SIMGLW426C

That's what was on the one they sent me last week and I used to activate my nexus 6. I got it sent to me from talking to them via chat.

Thank you. You have your phone and are taking the time to help. That's the part number on the sim I received...waiting for my phone...due on Monday...

Got mine today and I love it. Question though, does anyone know if ours are Sim locked like the at&t versions? I do like there is no sprint software on here.

You're welcome. Only a few more days and you'll get to enjoy yours :)

Have you handled a g flex or an iPhone.

Compared to friend's iPhone 6+ yesterday. Nexus is wider. iPhone is taller. iPhone is thinner. Nexus FEELS thinner. iPhone a bit lighter I think. The biggest issue with iPhone is the wasted space! It's basically the same size as the Nexus but only a 5.5 inch screen.

My local Sprint has two. I went to purchase them outright, but they wouldn't sell them to me without a Sprint line activation for each phone. I considered just activating a number for a month, and then switching over to AT&T, but the Sprint guy said that I wouldn't be able to do that. He added that it will only work on the Sprint network because it's serial number based. He also said Nexus 6's sold at Verizon are the same way.

Is that accurate???

Got mine last night.
Pretty close in getting it set-up like I want.
Moved all of my pics, wallpapers, downloads, movies and ringtones from my G3 to the N6.
Got this case arriving today: Amazon.com: Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit Case for Google/Motorola Nexus 6 - Retail Packaging - Smoke: Cell Phones & Accessories
Lots of great colors available.

It's gonna be a great weekend. :)

Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving.

Hey, Mav, how do you like the TPU case? I've got a wet bar of Ivory soap that is less slippery than my new Nexus 6.

This phone has been giving me bothin g but hell since I picked it up yesterday. The signal on the phone is downright horrid. Most of the time I have internet access but it cannot send an SMS message or place or receive calls.

Updated profile and PRL to no avail. Sitting with this phone, my Note 4 and my wife's iPhone 6, the iPhone and the Note can place calls just fine but the Nexus can't even though it says it has full signal.

I love the phone itself but its going back if I can't even place a call with it.

I've been having problems with SMS. It keeps sending duplicates. It is very annoying.

It is spectacular.
The Cruzerlite case is my 2nd favorite to use.
And it is a very close second.
My favorite is the Otterbox Symmetry and it is not out yet.

Same thing here. When and if the message finally goes through, it aend s anywhere from 2 to 5 copies to the recipient. I don't think it can tell when the first one actually goes through so it keeps trying to send. I only have the issue with SMS though. MMS works fine.

My bigger issue is with the phone side though. I know more and more these things are being more versatile and leas focused on talking, but you need to be able to place a call. I was just going to write it off as the Sprint Network but all my other Sprint phones sitting in the same area work fine.

I went to a Sprint store today and ask them about selling it outright and they said no. Then I asked him if I could sign up for a line of service then cancel the line and he told me he's not going to help me go around the system. So I went to a different store and told him I wanted the Nexus 6 and he told me about the plans and I told him $60 plan will work. No contract because your buying the phone outright. Walked out of the store about 45mins later and swapped the Sim card out with my modified Verizon Sim and I was done.

Exactly! When I activated the phone I had to call 3 times to get the phone to work. Maybe the N6 isn't compatible with sprint.
