My local Sprint has two. I went to purchase them outright, but they wouldn't sell them to me without a Sprint line activation for each phone. I considered just activating a number for a month, and then switching over to AT&T, but the Sprint guy said that I wouldn't be able to do that. He added that it will only work on the Sprint network because it's serial number based. He also said Nexus 6's sold at Verizon are the same way.
Is that accurate???
Had to take mine back to my Sprint to get it going.
They tried a new SIM and it did not work.
Put the old one back in, set it back up through Sprint and it now works.
Guess the act of switching it out provisioned it correctly.

Sent from my Sprint Tri-Band Nexus 6.
Greetings Sprint-ers.
Just a note about my Nexus 6 so far.
Everything works great except the LTE connection.
It connects for a second, then it's gone. Does it 5-6 times a minute. Seeing the exclamation point next to the bars.
Tried different SIM cards at the store but nothing fixed it for very long.
Was on with Sprint Customer Care for about an hour and we tried several different things but it did not work.
Found that 3G connects with no problems so we diagnosed it as a problem with the firmware related to the Lollipop 5.0 setup.
The Sprint guy said it was exactly the same with the S3 and S4 models when they came out and KitKat was new.
It is not the phone/hardware. It is a software problem.
It is not allowing the device to find the 4G towers, only the 3G.
Exchanging the phone will most likely not fix the problem.
From what I have been reading about 5.0, it seems to be affecting many makes and models that update to it.
Once Google finds a fix, an OTA update will be coming our way. Most likely in a couple of weeks is what usually happens.
I will hang on to my N6 and patiently wait for the update.
Just some of my observations and semi-educated opinions.
Anyone else having a similar problem?

Same here, more LTE coverage being a Tri-Band phone vs my old single LTE Band 25 (1900MHz).My N6 is the opposite. It finds LTE like a bloodhound trying to find a escaped convict. When it comes to 3G it could not find the ocean if it fell out of a boat....
