The last one was, I suspect this one will be too. The only thing I was miffed about with T-Mobile was that I paid $50 more than the play store for the device. I hope they're not doing THAT this time around.
No, I don't think the device will be locked, nor come with bloat. I don't even think updates will lag.

Since I've bought my last 2 nexus from the play store this year I'll get mine from T-Mobile stores.
That is if it does come out sooner than google ships them from the play store. (Hoping for Nov. 12th!)
I also hope its exactly like the play store model, meaning updates as soon as they come out, unlocked and pure android with no carrier garbage on the phone.
Where are the rest of you guys buying?

Would T-mobile let me walk in and by the device outright? I'm with ATT.
T-Mobile to Bring Nexus 6 to its Data Strong Network this November | T-Mobile Newsroom
The Nexus 6 by Motorola will join T-Mobile’s stellar device lineup on November 12 for $0 down (and $27.08 a month for 24 months on our Equipment Installment Plan).
$27.08 x 24 months is $649.92 so technically 7 cents cheaper than the play store....
Free shipping too, I believe.
Fantastic. I'll send my 7 cents to Android Central in hopes to bribe the infractions off my account.
Yes. Device and phone plans are not connection with t-mobile. If you paid for the phone outright it is yours. If you have tmobile and cancel service, they bill you for the phone. I could technically buy 3 or 4 phones from tmobile on EIP and let anyone use them on any carrier (they would probably be pissed if I did that though).
Nexus 6 Not Out Of Stock But Being Held Back For Release Through Carriers | Androidheadlines.comT-Mobile Nexus 4 sold out in just a couple hours - SlashGear
If the N6 launch really is the N4 launch all over again, expect T-Mobile's stock to sell out equally fast.
There's a big difference between a couple of hours and 0.0156 seconds. But point taken - act fast (or make friends with a store rep in advance!).
