If you order in the store, how do they ship? Is it free overnight? I know when I JUMP online you pay $7 for UPS Ground.

I don't know, never used JUMP before. Someone else?

I used jump once before when I went from the note 2 to the note 3. It was quick and painless. Paid the taxes for both note 3's one for my wife and myself. Came out to about 90 dollars. As long as you don't mind not owning the phone it's pretty cool.

I'm planning on jumping Wednesday into the nexus and the anticipation is driving crazy.

Excuse my ignorance, because I don't do 2 yr contracts, but JUMP is a kind of leasing program?

Correct. When you are able to upgrade your phone is traded in towards the new device. The remaining balance owed on the original device is wiped clean by T-Mobile. You end up paying the taxes on the new device upon upgrading which is pretty reasonable. It's actually pretty handy.

Jump gives you the option to upgrade your device once you have half the phone paid off. If you do the minimum payments it takes 12 months. However if you do the payments for 24 months the device is yours. You can also pay off the device before those 24 months. Sincecit is 0% interest its great if you want to own your device and say pay it off in 4 months or 12 months. You choose in how long. Or you can jump to the next device once you have half the phone paid off. The older jump which is no longer available let's you jump twice a year. You could jump to a Note 4 for example and then the Nexus if you wanted to that soon. Jump also includes your insurance and the premium version of lookout. Hope this helps.

I actually have the first jump program. It's a bit nicer on the wallet!

It is but the new one is nice too if you have the extra cash to pay down to get to that half way point. On the older jump if you use both your jumps in a 12 month span then you're out of luck and have to wait till you hit that 12 month point of when you did the first one.

I guess the way some people go through cell phones, it was just a matter of time when the carriers came up with something like this. But, I'm sure you're paying extra for it no matter how you look at it. Cell companies are there to make money afterall.

As an aside, let's say if I buy a Nexus 5 new for $350, and a year later I get $250 for it, (in mint condition of course) it has depreciated $100. OK, but on a $30 monthly prepaid plan, I'm saving ?????? how much per month? I bet it's significant. Most people I know pay about $60-100 a month. One can do the math if one wants.

Yeah, and those people are called shallow and plastic. ;)

Wow, you can define a person's entire character, personality and depth JUST by reading one comment about their "phone color preference"?! You're good Eddie, i'm totally jealous...

Re: Question about buying nexus 6 on T-Mobile store..

my guess is that unless you're a current or new T-Mobile customer they're going to give you a hard time, treat you with low priority, and/or at minimum charge you a premium for the phone.

Re: Question about buying nexus 6 on T-Mobile store..

You get phones based solely on how they look? Good gawd. Then again, you might be 12 yrs old and fashion accessories are everything to be cool with the "in crowd".

Lol it's there phone ? I avoided the black note 4 because of those hideous lines going through the buttons

Re: T-Mobile having Nexus 6 supply problems

I guess the Nexus 6 is getting a little more of the Note 4's market share with the Note 4 and iPhone 6+ costing up to $949 for a unlocked phone.

Leaked internal memo suggests T-Mobile having Nexus 6 supply problems

I agree with the part that Google/Motorola just misread the market and didn't build enough up front..... No clue what that number is though but it's pretty obvious now that demand is a lot greater than they anticipated.... specially with all those polls showing 60% of the people wouldn't buy it because it was too big and too expensive....

Re: T-Mobile having Nexus 6 supply problems

It may be an issue for awhile but I am sure they will catch up. Popular phones sometimes have supply issues :).
