I am really wondering if they are still working out last minute bugs with Lollipop. I would think the devices are ready to go but they don't want it out there until they have a very stable version to push to the devices once turned on. I feel this is the problem, but I am 99% wrong on my feelings so there is that... sigh

I had the same thoughts as well.... especially with some of the carriers wording as "pre-orders" vs orders for tomorrow. Also could explain the delay on the Nexus 5 that has a bunch of people in a tizzy. It will eventually get here

I wonder given that the Play Store had the 21st pegged from the beginning, was T-Mobile optimistic about their shipments coming in early?

It would make sense given ATT won't ship till next week like everyone else.

At any rate, Motorola seems to be performing poorly in the logistics department.

Well this will just give me more time to assemble my accessories. Sprint, is launching on the 14th....you think that will be delayed as well?

I was thinking that it might be a possibility, but considering they just announced today that they were doing it on the 14th, I think that means they have a good idea where they are as far as being able to have units on hands to sell. T-mobile announced the 12th around two weeks ago, so I could see why it might be different now for them as the date approaches but I'm optimistic about Sprint

Just because they failed T-Mobile does not mean they will for Sprint or AT&T.I would think Google and Moto would have stock on hand to fill existing orders, if not why would they stop taking orders and say sold out.They would just keep taking orders and fill them as the come.

Just because they failed T-Mobile does not mean they will for Sprint or AT&T.I would think Google and Moto would have stock on hand to fill existing orders, if not why would they stop taking orders and say sold out.They would just keep taking orders and fill them as the come.

I would think TMO would get their order first since presumably they ordered first, given the original earlier launch date.

That's the problem. We were placing all our hopes and dreams on the fact that tmobile was launching today. Now we don't have any info or ideas besides the estimated ship dates given to us from our orders.

The three stores I called yesterday who informed me about the delay told me there would be pre orders. Not that I believed them...

Yeah, pretty much. It's actually not bothering me that bad because I'm not surprised. November 21th (many of our Nexus 6 estimated ship dates) is just little over a week away, so it' not too much longer.

I honestly was happy tmo delayed the phone a week. I really wanted mine from the play store and was thinking if tmo released it first that I would cancel the play store pre order and get it from tmo.
Now I can get the full on pure nexus 6 on time with everyone else

Side question: if it leaves the warehouse on the 21st, will I receive it on sat? Do they even ship on sat? Or did I spend extra cash on next day delivery?

The T-Mobile store by my work was suppose to call me last night to ask if I still wanted one for today.... They had originally told me stock was due to arrive on Monday 11/10.... So on my way home from work I stopped by again last night and talked to the same guy... He just said he would call me on 11/18 now to ask if I still wanted one.... But he also wouldn't answer if they got the stock they were suppose to get on Monday or not....

Since all the stories I am reading are that Motorola failed to deliver inventory as promised I am not all that confident my Motorola preorder is going to ship today or tomorrow as they've said it would.... But I have a bill for $750 on my credit card that will have to be paid in full within 30 days........ They were nice enough to just do a preauthorization on 11/6 and then hit me for the full amount on Monday......
