Google Nexus 6 on T-Mobile

Re: Question for those who purchased online from T-Mobile

I'm an existing customer ordered at 1:00AM pacific time and selected next day air shipping. They "shipped" mine out on 11/19 but subsequently lost my package so they didn't find it until last night and now it's supposed to be delievered today. If you haven't received it by the ETA provided when you placed order if you call they refund shipping.

I am an existing TMo customer and ordered my phone at 3:00 am PST. My 64gb blue phone is listed as backorder.

Perhaps they are prioritizing new customers, figuring the existing ones are already invested in TMo and less likely to cancel???

If so, kinda' sucks but perhaps the obvious move on their part.

I feel bad, in a way. On one hand, I fully plan to test Tmobile and their network for a few months at least.
However, considering Verizon wasn't selling it directly and the PLAY store is out, Tmobile was my only option.

Re: Question for those who purchased online from T-Mobile

I ordered mine the other night T-Mobile began to accept orders. I chose Next Day delivery. I actually received mine moments later after I posted my comment! I can confirm that the Nexus 6 I ordered online from T-Mobile came with its SIM card. The whole transfer process was seamless!

OK thank you I'm going to order one today

Re: Question for those who purchased online from T-Mobile

Just got mine delivered via UPS from T-Mobile. Screen looks beautiful. Setting it up now. Hang in there.

I think the 64 is a little harder to come by.... Even on the play store and Motorola the 64 seemed to be the first to go and then became less likely to show up throughout the day as they slowly released batches to the public.... If the 64 was in short demand on the play and moto store I'd imagine getting one from T-Mobile would be more of a pain....

The thing that comes across a bit amateurish to me is that TMo delayed the rollout by one week to better enhance the customer experience; meanwhile, AT&T straight-up listed the phone on its website as a presale item. In effect, TMo appears to have delayed the presale of the 64gb for one week, yet did not say up front that it was a presale. I could be talking out of my fanny if I am in the minority having not received my phone while a plethora of others have. That said, I've received no fewer than a dozen or so combined texts and emails about my phone and its pending shipping, yet I had to go on the website and check my status to see that it is listed as backordered.

The real cherry on top is going to the contact us page and trying an online chat, only to get a "busy" message, try again later :-\

In some respect, I guess I am getting what I pay for. :D

Go the t-mobile.com and go to support on the bottom of the screen and choose chat... Get people all the time that way

That was what I was saying, I went to chat and it was busy. I just tried again and it says "Chat support is currently busy. Chat representatives are currently helping other customers. Please check back soon or contact us using another method."

I can't imagine that it is busy because everything is so great in TMo-land that customers are clamoring to get into chat to congratulate them on their service. Haha.

To update my last post, after still seeing it listed as busy this morning, I was finally able to get through to online chat. The best that they could tell me is that my online order of 11/19 is scheduled for delivery on 11/27 (Thanksgiving). We shall see if that comes to fruition or if it will be in the kick in the pants that I need to order the probably more practical phone (from a carry in my pocket standpoint) MotoX. Hmmm, perhaps I should order a custom MotoX from Motomaker and whichever phone arrives first is the winner. :D

Re: Got it

What are you talking about? Said this on another thread. Google is selling 2 phones period the US model and international model. Buying the model in Sprint, AT&T, t-mobile or Verizon will work on any carrier given that the sim is unlocked and not locked to a carrier like the AT&T model apparently. The phone can physically work on any us service

Um, yes, it has been documented on this forum that carriers such as AT&T have locked it down so you can't swap sims from other carriers <smh>

Re: Got it

How many of you guys checked it out in store before ordering? I already had placed mine through Motorola. I headed to the store to see how it felt in hand on the 19th. Super excited to receive it.

I did. Ordered it immediately after playing with it.

Only AT&T locked it which can easily be unlocked anyways.... Be it paying it in full, contract ends or other ways. The phone still has the bands to run on t-mobile or Verizon or etc. Read my post next time

LMAO...whatever... I know that the phone has all the bands, duh... But that doesn't mean the carriers will let you use it if you go into their store and try tos sign up with service with a Nexus 6. Why don't you read those posts please.

Lol do you even read? The AT&T is the only one that has locked the phone.... Verizon isn't offering it and t-mobile and sprint left it alone. You can also get passed sim locks as well

Re: Question for those who purchased online from T-Mobile

Getting mine today, searched the forums to see if the SIM came with the phone, you answered it. Thank you.

As long as it's unlocked, we now have confirmation that Sprint will. T-Mobile always would. Who knows about Verizon.
