Agreed. I don't see why people are so hellbent on saying there's going to be so many different versions of this device.

Let's just be patient and wait and see. I don't find it to be that difficult.....

I am changing and deciding between the nexus 6 and droid turbo. I am willing to wait till the 12th to see if they get it but not much longer

It is sad that I love capacitive buttons but hate them on the turbo.....I think it would bug the heck out of me that they are not Lollipop

I have a note 4 and always had them except the nexus 5 I had but sold because of poor battery life and no WiFi calling with t-mobile but since I will have good service with Verizon idc about wifi calling. The 3900 mah battery in the turbo and 5.2 inch screen should mean great battery life and with almost naked android it should be a like nexus device

I have a Brand New 64GB Droid Turbo that i haven't opened and i ended up changing my mind for the N6 since work gave me a Turbo as a work phone. So At this point im going to sell it soon and hopefully get a N6. I keep checking our systems and theres NOTHING about the N6. When i see something i will definitely let people know on here.

I am very reliable and since i work for Verizon, I can get genuine info once i find it.

Looks like Verizon will be late to this party, maybe wanna drive Turbo sales.. Not that I care, I'll just pop my nano sim from my iPhone 6+ into the Nexus 6 when I get it, then switch the 6+ to my other line to replace my outgoing S5. Even if Verizon didn't want to play ball at all at first, I'd just use my prepaid T-mo sim to play with it until Verizon got their stuff together on this. It does suck for people who don't already have a Verizon sim they can pop into their incoming Nexus 6 though.

I just spoke with an awesome and knowledgeable rep from Google over the phone. He told me without a doubt that the N6 OUT OF THE BOX will work on Verizon. There will NOT be a special model made for Verizon and that there is TWO Models, A US & International Model THAT'S IT. He said anyone who buys from the Play Store can simply pop in their SIM and the phone will do the rest. He also stated if you need more confirmation, Just visit Nexus 6 – Google and scroll the the bottom right and there you will see Verizon Wireless.


Some of us already knew this including myself, But i realize some of you are nervous about spending all your money just for the phone not to work. You are good to go!

So its confirmed that I can purchase the Nexus 6 phone from the Google Play store and just pop in my Verizon sim correct? If so, I will just try and snatch one on Wednesday (or a Wednesday) and go that route. Unless anyone has any reason to wait for Verizon to release it or any Pros of getting it from Verizon instead.

I wish I could get confirmation from a Google rep when asking if we were to buy the phone from one cellular provider (T-Mobile) on November 12, remove that cellular provider's sim card and put the sim card in from another provider (Verizon) and it work. Can someone from Google confirm that?

I'm in the same boat. The fact that Verizon wants to get their Droid Turbo exposed is one thing but to not acknowledge a phone that you will be carrying is stupid. Especially when you know that people want it and it can be contracts people sign for this phone. Sometimes I wonder what really goes on in the meeting rooms at Verizon.

That is a good question, I'm thinking the answer to that is no until Verizon starts selling it themselves. I hope I'm wrong.
