Guess that Google update confirms it at least isn't coming to Verizon stores in November.

Also, didn't the Nexus 7 'work' on Verizon when people just put their existing sim in? They just refused to activate new ones or blocked them later? Could be an issue with nexus 6 if Verizon isn't officially selling it.

Be nice if they said every Wednesday at 11 am PST and Carriers T-Mobile November 12, AT&T (Insert date) Sprint (Insert date) US Cellular (Insert date) Verizon (LOL... Good luck guys, we tried to include Verizon bands and radios)

It will definitely be available through them. We just don't know when. If this 11/12 is the actual date of release like everyone thinks it is, then I would assume it would probably be around that day.

I read on a very authoritative site that today's sale won't go live until 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

So, no reason for all you guys and gals to waste your time hitting F5 all day.

(Bwahaha! Now I'll have them all to myself when they actually go live at 12 Noon! Genius, I tell you, pure genius!)

I read on a very authoritative site that today's sale won't go live until 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

So, no reason for all you guys and gals to waste your time hitting F5 all day.

It's starting to sound just like the Nexus 7 LTE.... When they released it they said it would work with Verizon and then people started to buy off the play store and Verizon wouldn't activate them and then Google removed them as a listed provided for a little while and eventually (Weeks later) people started having some success.....

Verizon is going to drag it's feet on the Nexus 6.... They have the Turbo and Note 4 on their network so they are probably in no hurry to activate an bloat free Nexus.....

I feel, unfortunately for VZN customers, this is going to be true. I will never forget that they delayed the GNex because they wanted to push their latest Droid for a month...

Hopefully the Verizon folks can at least activate a Play Store device (if you can get one) because being able to get it on contract and at a discount or in stores I have a feeling is going to be first of December at the earliest... I'd guess Verizon pushes the droid through the holidays... Maybe I am wrong.... for the Verizon faithful I hope so......

Given they've only just launched the Droid Turbo, which - aside from screen size - is, to the eyes of their average consumer, nearly identical in spec, I'm not surprised in the least that they will at best be 'fashionably late' to the party.
