It appeared on Wednesday around 1:00 PM ET. Same time as it did on Oct. 29th.

I got mine at 1:54 eastern. They seemed to pop up and be gone real quick. As far as I know they will be up again next Wednesday. Seems like luck. If you refresh at just the right time and then add it to the cart you might get lucky. Some people have reported it leaving the cart once they got it there but that was not my experience.

Err... All T-Mobile phones are sold at full price, though there is the option to spread the cost out over time. And they haven't done contracts in a long while.

You're right I hadn't thought about that. I haven't bought any phones from Tmobile since they started the non-contract stuff. I was mainly thinking about my overall experience buying phones from all carriers. I've been buying phones off-contact way before Tmobile started doing that, which doesn't seem like a long while ago to me.

Re: Wednesday restock Nexus 6

Totally agree about the pre-approval, just thought it was odd both of them hit today. When I ordered the N5 the last time, the ship dates were all way off as well. No big deal though, I don't mind waiting a bit to both get one from the play store and not bother worrying about going to the mall and dealing with carriers :)

Looks like it was a total coincidence.... reason Nexus Player and N6 hit my card at the same time was the Player shipped overnight, so one was a charge, other the pre-approval. No big deal, it will eventually show up :)

Hopefully sooner rather than later......

Sims are free, I'm not sure about the 2nd part. I'll have to do some digging

Thanks Joe. I don't mind paying for a new VZW nano-sim (others said it might be free), but since VZW isn't yet "supporting"/selling in stores the N6, I just hope I don't end up having a N6 "brick" on my hands until VZW decides to let me use it/sign up on their network.

re: Google Nexus 6 Preorder Info & Reviews

I was upset but not so much that I wasn't going to get the N6. I was thinking about trying Tmobile on the 12th but really glad I don't have to now. The reps in the Tmobile store near me were not very knowledgeable the last time I went, when I asked about a certain plan. I couldn't imagine going in there and asking about a Nexus 6.

Another thing that makes me uncomfortable is their reaction when I tell them I just want to buy the phone full price. I don't totally blame them because they are used to doing phones on contract, but it's still a weird experience.

Your post makes no sense and is full of errors.

Any rep could sell you an N6. They don't have to know anything.

And T-Mobile doesn't do contracts.

re: Google Nexus 6 Preorder Info & Reviews

I was so excited and nervous when ordering my N6 yesterday that I was clicking everything so fast to make sure I got one and ended up with 3-5 day shipping. Will a couple of extra days hurt? Not really. Until I come on here or the net and see everybody else talking about playing with theirs... I tried Google Support but they said they can't change it and if I wanted different shipping I would have to cancel the order and rebuy one. But since the inventory and ordering is like 3 grains of sand in an hour glass at a time, I figure I will just hang on.

I acknowledged that I hadn't thought about tmobile's contract-free plans a few posts above. Obviously you didn't read it or just ignored it. I was basing my opinion on some past experiences, and not just Tmobile.

The ugly versus non ugly, yes.

The others, no. Facts.

Although I do agree with you...... Still kind of opinion... a lot of people don't have a clue what OEM or carrier bloat is and wouldn't know the difference between Android 4.4 and 4.4.4 or 5.0.... My wife being one of them... she usually complains up and down for weeks after a software update because it doesn't work exactly the way it use to before it updated (For better or worse)

I've also seen plenty of people defend the heck out of Touchwiz on the Note devices and bash the Nexus 6 as just an over sized phone without the added software touches Samsung has put in the note to take advantage of the screen... before I learned about rooting I'd just delete carrier or OEM bloat from my home screens and ignore it..... I remember the stupid NASCAR app when with Sprint... UGH!!! I'm actually a NASCAR fan and that app was useless........

As soon as I saw the 64 GB go on sale, it was like muscle memory from the N5 launch had kicked in. Add to cart, add to a certain CC, next day shipping, order?? I was so happy to see the confirmed order email. I do hope it ships before the 21st though

re: Google Nexus 6 Preorder Info & Reviews

Curious. How many times, since you've successfully placed your order, have you double checked that it's still at Google Play?

I've check at least 3 times since yesterday.

Until I plug my m8 sim card into my nexus 6 and it works I'm still going to worry. It's in my nature.

Verizon doesn't work with SIM plug and play.

re: Google Nexus 6 Preorder Info & Reviews

Joe, I got an order in today for the 32gb. I'm thinking of switching my wife and I to VZW in week or two. So, when my N6 comes in, I assume I can just take it to the store and they will sell my a VZW nano-sim and poof, I'm good to go on their network? Just making sure... Tks!

No you will not be good to go by just putting the SIM in. Verizon is not a GSM carrier.

re: Google Nexus 6 Preorder Info & Reviews

I do wonder about activating the phone on Verizon. I've done it so infrequently, but I can't quite remember what the process is. I think you have to log in on the website, and enter in some device information, correct? Do you do that before or after the SIM has been inserted and the phone is turned on?

Anyway, in the Droid Life video, they kinda made it sound like they just popped the SIM in and everything was good to go. There was no real mention of extra steps beyond that to get service.

I must be missing something here, as you certainly are aware that the Nexus 6 is not just a GSM device, being widely compatible with Verizon's network bands.

That's correct, pop in your Verizon SIM card and go! Verizon's SIM cards do the provisioning for you. Of course the phone has to be Verizon compatible, but otherwise you should be good to go.
