I could be wrong but from what I have seen Belkin doesnt have type c to type or an adapter that will let me plug my current micro usb cable into it and then the adapter plugs into the 6p

I meant they dont have type c to type c or an adapter which will be type c on one end and micro usb on the other to use my old cable

Just the cable or the charging block, for some reason the Android Central App closes every time I try to post the screen shot of the the Type C cables on the Belkin website.

The one I ordered from Amazon has a bigger end so barely works with a case. Is the Belkin smaller and close to the size of stock?

$30?! Yikes! I'm so used to paying less lol.

Edit: Still too short on the length too.

Yeah i just got home and someone else sent me that link i ordered it, 20 dollar price tag sucks and i prefer black but will do for now hopefully it works with rapid charge

I may order this but the size of the plug means everything to me. The official Nexus case doesnt work with the plug I got but I am returning the case anyway for a cheaper Diztronic. If that cutout is even slightly bigger I won't need to order this cable.

Question: I read about Benson Leung's reviews and warnings regarding the out-of-spec USB Type C cables and adapters.

The ones that he's been recommending are too expensive/out of order. It appears that these out-of-spec cables can't handle the higher voltage?

Does anyone know/think that it'll be okay to buy these cheap out-of-spec adapters to use for charging with my old, lower powered chargers?

Another question - I recently purchased a new car that has USB ports for charging. Does anyone know what the amperage for the built in USB chargers are? I certainly don't want to use a cheap out-of-spec cable if the AMPs being pumped out of those USB ports are too high.

Check your car manually, but most car USB ports are around 2A.
