Google Nexus 6P USB-C Charging

Is QuickCharge 2.0 equal to fast charging on the Nexus 6P?

Can someone please clarify?

I found a Type C car charger certified for Quick Charge 2.0 just wondered if anyone can shed any light?

No, Quick Charging isn't the same as fast charging. My understanding is that QC is a proprietary technology from Qualcomm while fast charging comes from the higher rated power of Type C. You have to make sure the charger outputs at a full 15w (5V/3A).

I was going to get the PECHAM 6.6 feet cable thats on amazon but there are reviews saying it doesnt work with the fast charging even though specs would lead you to believe it could

Anyone know of a type c to type c cable of atleast 6.6 feet or more that works for fast charging?

I've always had good luck with Monoprice cables. Some one claimed they appear to be the cables Google is using.

Monoprice doesnt have a 6 foot in till Nov 11th, I might have my phone before then so I need something in the meantime that is 6 foot or preferably more

I picked up the iOrange-E type C cables and they are pretty nice and got that Google guys five star rating....

Seem very sturdy and charge/sync pretty good..

Can you link me because the only one I saw on the Google list is Type C to USB A I believe, The type C to type C one they have supposedly wont do fast charge since the specs dont match

I picked up the Type A to Type C cables... I picked up two.. One for work and one for my cars USB Type A port to charge in the car if needed.... I don't think or see that they make a Type C to Type C cable..... The phone seems to charge pretty fast when I do use them at work. Not as fast as the included cable/Box that came with the phone.... but it works...

I ordered about a week ago, and it was in stock. I have the 6ft cable, and it works well. I also have the OnePlus USB-A to USB-C cable. It also works well and provides good charging speed when used with a 2.1A or better charger.

The Apple USB C cables work very well also. Picked up a couple of 6-footers at Best Buy today, since I had about $200 in credit with them.

They should... It's generally the wall adapter that decides that.

Apparently that hasnt been the case, cables have been affecting whether it fast charges or not with several brands

Im looking at getting a usb c to micro usb cable/adapter so i can use my current usb cable to charge my phone until monoprice is back in stock or other cables are out, i saw some sketchy info on safe adapters to use any recommendations? I want to make sure whatever i get even though its temp use that it doesnt do any harm

I could be wrong but from what I have seen Belkin doesnt have type c to type or an adapter that will let me plug my current micro usb cable into it and then the adapter plugs into the 6p
