Google Nexus Live Announcement Discussion Thread

If u use Google music and install ur music to the cloud, then it won't use up any phone memory. Plus 32gb is a lot of memory. I mean how much video are u going to take? Judging on the video samples and pictures we saw last night, the camera looks amazing. Apple might have had the better presentation, but Google had the more revolutionary product. I also think that Google's announcement yesterday was focused more on ICS Android 4.0, rather than the galaxy nexus.

Thanks for your comment elvisgp. I'm not particularly wanting to take a lot of video but it would be cool to be able to instead of taking a video camera everywhere. I thought I read somewhere that 1 minute of HD video takes up 1 gig of space. I knew iphone has a cloud option but I didn't realize android did as well. Does it work the same way? Is there a charge for it? I've decided I'm definitely going with Android but I just wanted to make sure GN is the best choice. I can't believe they didn't give out more information about when it will be available.

did anyone else feel like we already knew everything that was released in hong kong? all I wanted to know was the verizon price, release date, how good the reception and call quality will be and how reliable it's gonna be. basically everything i'd want to know about any phone, smart or otherwise.

I don't know much about icloud, so I can't tell u how Google cloud services compare. But I can tell u that Google cloud services allow for storing of books, music, and movies in the cloud. They will also allow for apps and contacts to be backed up in the cloud. And storing in the cloud is free as far as I know.
