Question Google not recognizing my new phone

I bought a new Samsung Galaxy A15. My old LG phone was I thought transferred to new phone. Now, Google is asking me for 2 step verification and it is trying to send it to my old phone. It is not acknowledging my new phone. I need help, my transfer seems all bolixed up.

Do you have other methods for authentication? What about sending an SMS (assuming you've swapped the SIM into the new phone)?

When you see the Google 2-step verification screen, is there an option for "Try another way" or something similar to that?

I agree with B. Diddy it should offer try a different way but another question how did you do the transfer through smart switch between devices?
