Google Now Cards over Watch Face

Has anyone figured out how to disable the Google Now cards over the watch face? I don't mind scrolling through the cards, but when I want to look at the time I find it tremendously distracting (and aesthetically heinous) to see google cards (like what bands are playing in the area) over the elegant watch face. Also, I don't like that sports scores come up when I have the game recorded at home (neither here nor there I suppose).

I'm still waiting for my 360, so I can't answer about the cards, but as for the sports scores, you can control whether you want them to show up or not.

It is in the Google Now customization menu on your phone, under Sports.

Also, I think disabling the cards would rather defeat the purpose of the watch..the point is to save you the effort of digging through cards, menus etc as much as possible.

I agree the cards don't need to be on screen all the time. They should be visible when a notification comes in and then slide down out of view and be hidden until you swipe up to call for them again.

This. Google has zero interest in giving us another way to check the time or read a text. They want us using services that provide them with data an ultimately that's their revenue.

Just swipe down from the top to mute notifications and only the watch face will be displayed until you unmute. It's simple and easy to quickly toggle the display mode.
