Google photos app issue

As of late photos will not open and gives the "unfortunately photos has stopped" message. Working if anyone else is having this issue and found a way to resolve it. On cleared data and cach on it and G+ as well as the play store. I've uninstalled it several times and still no luck. My photos still seem to be backing up just can't open the app.

Go deeper. System cache wipe. Either from settings storage. Or from recovery

I've even tried that as well as clearing the partition from recovery haha. Feel like the only other step is a reset but don't see me doing that over this.

Delete your google account from settings and register it again.
