Google photos "undo" bug

Hey guys, I'm wondering if any of you came across the problem about deleting picture and undoing it by pressing the "undo" button. The second that picture appears back in the gallery (it looks like it's lower quality) and freezes ( can't zoom on it or swipe photos ) for around 5 sec. Then all the symptoms stops until I decide to use the undo option again. That's quite annoying and im curious if anyone had the same issue and maybe know working solution. Im on the latest Google photos app and I've tried deleting it, clearing all data and nothing has helped yet.

I tried, and I can't get any action like that.

Have you tried clearing the cache on Gallery?

I can see similar behavior but since everything behaves normally after 3 seconds I don't see what the big deal is. I almost never Undo a delete anyway.
