My trade in for the Nexus 6 is $70. Seems like a good deal for a 3 year old phone.

My 128GB Pixel XL in perfect condition gets me $410 from Google and, while I could *possibly* get more selling it myself, based on recent eBay sales there is a good chance that I would get less.

I am just going with Google's trade-in plan.

When was your estimated ship date? I ordered about 2 minutes after the event, Unlocked Just Black XL 128gb, and got Oct 25-26. Now it shows the same phone as being ready in 2-3 weeks, or Oct 19th-26th, so I hope mine gets bumped a bit.

Ordered after the availability date was announced. Initially given the estimated 17th as shipping and 19-20th for arrival.

Lol, dude you had to have the Verizon app on your phone to pre order a Pixel 2 right after the Google event. Verizon didn't open their website up to online pre orders until 3 AM on Thursday.

Ah okay. Oh well.. I ordered through Google without issue .

Well I almost purchased the Pixel 2 XL in white and when I saw the total price in my cart for some reason I just couldn't go through with the purchase. I'm a current Google Pixel (Blue) owner and seeing the prices these phones go for nowadays is just a turn off. I understand that's just the nature of the business but I can't justify paying almost a grand for a phone! I rather wait until next year when prices drop.

I am pretty envious of those dual speakers! I miss those from my old HTC phone.

Black has always been my favorite color. All my phones have been either black or gray. So that's what I went for when I placed my pre-order for XL 2 yesterday. That orange power button was an eyesore for me. The changes from original XL did not seem too significant. The new AR features looked cool but I doubt I will ever use it. But I still felt like upgrading anyways. October 19. That's just 2 weeks away. Sweet!!

P.S. No, I did not fork out a grand for the phone. Well, I mean I did not pay outright. I just used my Google financing. And I decided not to trade in my original XL. I want to keep it as a backup device if anything goes wrong with my new one. I have stopped buying equipment protection from Verizon.

Swappa... is a better medium for selling. You can list it and it you don't get your asking price you don't have to sell it and can then just trade it in. they only charge a $10 fee I believe.

I got the Google Notification that it was shipped as well for my
Panda flavored 2XL, but I think it's just a bug.
When you click into it you just see that it says Order Confirmed.

I had to sit through 2 meetings on Wednesday from 10 AM to about 12:30 pm CST. You had to start ordering during the event, which is why I was experiencing issues with the Google site. I figured I could call and place an order. The lady tells me no I can't place an order through them but she was trying to help me troubleshoot the ordering process which I thought was stupid. I hung up on her because she was slowing me down from placing an actual order.

Just tell me the website is having problems so I can get off the phone with you. Opening and closing my browser isn't going to help because that's the first thing I tried.

Again, it is obviously not shipped, the Launcher page just bugged out and turned the "order confirmed" email into a "shipped" notification. I thought I made that pretty clear the first time.

just got an email stating Pixel 2 XL has shipped. gonna see what this is all about.

Must be a bug. It is marked Shipped in my Inbox too but when I go to the order page, it says Order Placed.

I'm not a fan of the colored power button either. But Apple put a red dot on the crown of their Apple watch LTE. Reviewers were oozing over it. I'm like it's a damn dot!

I still purchased a Pixel 2 XL in Panda. A reviewer did love the colored power button....SMH. I don't get it.
