I wish it wasn't buried behind the menu button. It's annoying to have to press that and then select the portrait mode before taking a pic. I wish Google would fix that in an update.

I don't have mine yet so I can't try this...would Google Assistant select portrait mode with a voice command?

Google Assistant can "take a selfie" (it opens the selfie camera ad then counts down from 3 to allow you to align the shot).

But, commands like "take a portrait selfie" and "take a selfie portrait" simply result in an attempt to find appropriate content on the web.

Maybe with a future update...

Just got my Pixel 2 on hand... First shot of the phone, very low-light with only my laptop monitor and TV in the background as light sources on a moving subject (my daughter). Impressed me right away.

I wish the camera had an option to set brightness to 100% upon opening the app. That would tray help with the current lack of for vibrancy.

I'm testing out some other apps that currently have that feature.

The audio is a lot less clipped than I would expect for such a loud concert and the video looks superb for the lighting. Sharp and detailed. How did you get black and white? On a computer, or is there a function I missed?

Not to mention I was literally standing right next to the speaker. The B&W filter is from YouTube.
