I am seriously blown away at how well the Pixel 2 does in low light situations. Simply incredible.
One of my ultimate tests of low light photography is the Christmas tree with multi-colored lights on and no other lighting in the room. Eagerly awaiting folks to post those types of photos. Just to see how the Pixel 2 handles it.
I don't have a Christmas tree but the neighbor across the street does. It sits on his screened in patio (this is Florida). It is nine o'clock at night and pitch dark out. No street lights on my street and basically as dark as it can be. The only light is from the tree so I walked across the street and snapped a shot for you. I am certain that if I had not been shooting through a screen it would have been sharper.
