Google Pixel XL - Preorder /order/shipping thread

Interestingly I just checked my order status and the expected ship date has disappeared - yet again

Yep, mine said 1/13 yesterday and today on Verizon's website it is just blank. I originally ordered the QB XL 128 on October 20th.

Mine (QB 128gb XL ordered 10/17) was supposed to ship the 2nd. Preorder number changed to an order number but never shipped. Talked to Verizon a couple of times and they have no idea what's going on with it. No updated dates or information. One rep told me that she was told the new date is 1/13 (this information wasn't attached to my order). She blamed Google and that there was nothing they could do but wait. My Verizon is useless and doesn't display any information for me. I've heard people are tweeting Google, but they aren't getting any responses back.

Considering cancelling my XL 128 order with Verizon and ordering a regular pixel 128 gb, will I be disappointed? Has anyone else done this

I looked at a regular pixel 128 and let me say it was too small for my hands I'm glad I got my hands on a 128 XL in Black

The two people I saw on Reddit this morning that posted movement on their orders (one got tracking, one got a credit card charge) were in the 10/14-10/15 range of order dates. The guy that got a tracking number I think was 10/14. Hopefully things are moving forward now, although my order date was 10/25 so I know I've still got a bit of a wait til they catch up to me.

For the amount of money Verizon rakes in, they have no excuse for the sorry website they give us. Get a good web designer and reassign whoever you're using Verizon!

Another day, not other update from Verizon on my end (Quite Black Pixel XL 128GB) - Still in processing, pre-order number gone and has updated to "Order Number". I beli I beli I believe that's all folks!

The two people I saw on Reddit this morning that posted movement on their orders (one got tracking, one got a credit card charge) were in the 10/14-10/15 range of order dates. The guy that got a tracking number I think was 10/14. Hopefully things are moving forward now, although my order date was 10/25 so I know I've still got a bit of a wait til they catch up to me.

I saw someone just now on Reddit that said theirs shipped. They said from 10/16. I think they got lucky though otherwise we'd be hearing more. Probably the one phone that Google accidentally sent to Verizon.

For those ordering straight from Google, do you receive an internal error message when attempting to check your order history on google store's page?

The fact that Google has been selling and shipping 128 XLs from their store and the Project Fi store while Verizon hasn't seen a stock update in weeks is ludicrous, maybe we're finally seeing that come to an end.

When I look on the Verizon site my preorder number has changed to an order number with no ship date.....when I check threw the link in my email it shows original ship date of 11-18 again.......silver 128 xl ordered 10-20 in store

Since I ordered my XL 128 from vzw on 11/8 does that mean I'll get it soon after the pixel 2 is released.
