Did you get your order in before Oct 17th? Because from what I was told, even though I was on the waitlist for the Black 128GB XL on Oct 5th, and wasn't able to order until I received an email on Oct 21st, I missed the window and won't be getting a Daydream.

BTW Still Pending from my Oct 21st Order, I guess I am further along than those that still say pre-order, but it still sucks. Me wanty Phone!

Yep, Pro-ordered on 10/4. Mine will be delivered tomorrow and just wondering how long until I will receive the promo code. I am hoping to have the Daydream VR for Thanksgiving to show off to family members

I completely forgot about the Daydream code. I guess I'll see when it comes through. That was such an afterthought to me that I filed it away and never remembered it.

If you ordered early on 10/4 and are still in preordered status, I would recommend contacting Google. There has to be something amiss if one of the first orders hasn't at least begun being fulfilled yet.

I did call. They just stated I would get it by the date indicated on my order, which is around 2 weeks from now.

^ i've learned that customer service can't really help. They look at the ship date on the order and use that to answer questions.

I agree Frankf10. They cannot do anything other than go by the dates. I did complain a bit and talked with a superior, which did not lead to much. It's daunting one of the largest companies in the world can botch a simple FIFO process (or outsource to a horrendous warehouse).

Ordered my wife's 32gb Pixel XL back on Oct. 16th and it finally shipped yesterday for scheduled delivery this Friday the 11th. She is so excited!!

They need to fix this next time. I ordered on announcement day 10/4 and it's being delivered today. There's no reason that ordering on announcement day yields the same delivery date as someone ordering almost 2 weeks later.
