Google Pixel XL - Preorder /order/shipping thread

I also got the 1/13 email on my 10/17 order. Maybe they can just pushing the ship date back until the S8 comes out lol. Still using the Note 7 so I'm not too worked up over it.

Yay they are gonna give me a $10 gift card that I have to use along with more of my money on their products!!!!!🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

I got the email too. How are you guys going to spend all your loot? At Verizon you might be able to get half a pair of earbuds

OK I just checked my email and I got the notification and big ol 10$ offer too. There's a link at the bottom to check order status and it still doesn't even show my order.

I'll keep using my note 7 and hope it doesn't decide to spontaneously combust

One question I have is how many pixel xls have been ordered thru Verizon and how many have Google provided them? Seems like they must have been planning on selling about 50 of these phones. Verizon and Google are Pathetic!

I just received the notification that my 10-18-16 order will not ship until 1-13-17.

So that is 11-11-16, 11-28-16, 12-2-16 (according to Verizon rep), and now 1-13-17. Verizon should be doing more here, but they are failing. I'm so tempted to go down to my store and snag an iPhone 7 Plus but once again know it will be cool for 10 minutes then I will be bored of it. Glad to see I'm not the only one pissed.

I may just try to snag one from the Google Store now. I've had enough. The thing that is in question for me is will Google keep putting stock on their website or will they help Verizon? Or is Verizon on their own, because the probably underestimated the amount of orders they were going to get and under ordered... Keep your chins up my friends.

you could get a regular pixel 128 if they have one and exchange it for a XL if they get any in before the end of the return period. Thats what im doing since I got fed up with the delays.

If people on here have preordered in mid October have their shipping date pushed back till 1/13 then should I assume mine will be pushed back further since I ordered mine on 11/13. Currently the Verizon website says 12/26. Btw I ordered the QB XL 128gb.

it would be a fair assumption. But you never know. I orderd 11/1 and expected date is tomorrow but No way do I expect to get it because theres still 10/16 orders waiting

I'm a 10/25 order that had an original ship date of 12/2 and got pushed back to 1/13. Now that we're finally seeing some movement for the mid-October orders, the hope is that Google has gotten their act together and is going to be consistently supplying Verizon with stock so they can start fulfilling more orders. #GlassHalfFull

None that I've seen. Only seen 3 people post shipping notices and only one confirmed they received it, but it was 1 order from 10/14 and 2 from 10/16.

We cannot possibly know what sort of arrangement Verizon and Google have made. However, it seems that the process would likely involve Verizon placing an order with Google for X many units of each model. The Verizon phones are different in that they have a different bootloader than phones purchased directly from Google, so it's not just a matter of grabbing some of the Google Store's supply and whisking them over to Verizon.

We can't know wherein lies the cause of the clog in the supply chain, we just see the unhappy results. :(
