So I stopped down at my local VW and.......
NOPE! They never heard of anyone getting the order canceled due to CC expiring! "You will get an e-mail telling you what to do"
or
You can cancle and start alllll over again!
Oh my, wish me luck and why not just charge the tax vs waiting till shipment date?

Two year contracts are the worst way to buy a phone. You're now locked into Verizon for 24 months, and your monthly line access fee is now $40/month instead of $20. So you just spent $419 out of pocket and will pay another $20 per month for 24 months, so you basically paid $419 + $480 for that phone, total $899. If you had done monthly payments, you'd still pay the full retail over the 24 months, but now line access is only $20.

I'm on an old Nationwide Talk 450 plan and I confirmed with VZW support that the fee doesn't apply and my monthly charge stays the same.

UPDATE: Received an email stating "Your order is scheduled to be processed. Average processing time is 3 days. You will receive a confirmation email when processing is complete and your device has shipped. " Then I received this email stating "Unfortunately, there was a payment failure and we were unable to complete your order with the payment information you provided. Please use the following secure link to complete your order. The link will allow you to resubmit your payment information or use a different payment method. " and I was able to update my payment info!!! So far so good and I will see if I get a shipment confirmation. Still shows same shipment date! fingers crossed

It's finally happening! Ordered a VS 128gb XL from Verizon on 11/2. Shipping date went from 12/9 to 1/13 to 1/20. However, my card was charged the taxes/fees yesterday and the Verizon website says the phone shipped today! Never received a text or email notification.

Blue XL seems to be in stock at Verizon, shows a ship date of 1/4/17 on their website but all the other XLs are showing Feb ship dates.

I originally had 2/17 for the same phone. Still showing 2/17 but the VZW website is showing a 3/20 ship date for new orders. Sort of worried. Regular black 128GB appears to be in stock

I ordered the Pixel Silver 128 last week. Going to send back my Pixel Silver 32. When I ordered it, it showed a ship date of 1/5. I was hoping it might ship early, but I've been checking periodically, and it currently shows the silver Pixel sold out in both 32/128. There's been no movement w/ my credit card, so I'm a little worried. Mine is not the XL, but I really thought I might see it at least switch to processing by now.

I just called to check. My VZW order is for an XL128 & XL32.
Order placed 11/16/2016 with a ship date of 12/26/2016
Ship date has just been moved to 2/17/2017.

Such delays are unacceptable.

Just had our BOGO50% VS XL128 & Blue XL32 arrive from VZW Small Bus Accounts.

no shipment notice, just showed up on the doorstep.

Just got my QB XL 128 yesterday, ordered on 11/24, original ship date was supposed to be today ha,still no movement on my wife's silver xl 128 yet her ship date is 1/13
