Google play Nexus 5 on boost?

Found a sweet deal from craigslist and my friend wants to snag it but he's on boost. I did a Google search and couldn't find much. Anyone know if it'll work?

I'm thinking it will with this sim?

Boost runs on sprints network, and at one time did not allow byop, but maybe that's changed now..
