I know there have been some other threads on this, and I tried following the directions I found on those (clear cache (for the Play Store)/ clear cache and reboot/ clear cache, remove associated Google account, reboot, return associated Google account), and none of it worked.
When I try to go into the Play store, this is what I get (with my photo and associated email removed, of course):
And the main screen behind that splash is this:
I'm getting really annoyed. It seems like the Play Store is working in the background, because some apps are updating. But if an app needs updated permissions, I can't get to the Play Store to allow those new permissions.
I await all advice with bated breath. Thank you.
