Google Search Bar deactivated from my Galaxy Nexus: help!

Hi everyone,

I'm running Android 4.1.1 on my Galaxy Nexus and I've found out today that my Google Search bar isn't working anymore. It's still there only without the mic icon and it's completely inactive.

In fact I think deactivated Google Search from my apps in the hope of fixing it

Before I did that, I could use the Google Search bar typing or using voice recognition, but it searched and got me where I previously was ... I got that bug after I let my phone drop yesterday, but not sure whether a physical cause may have software consequences ...

Any idea might help!

I actually uninstalled the app ... Is there anyway I can re-install it without making a factory reset?

opsie.... its not available in market so you will have to manually place the file in system folder.
i take that you have rooted your phone since you uninstalled a system app.

search how to install google now on ICS.. it should be same instruction but i am not sure.
