I don't think so, I think the price is right for the specs, which is as good or better than other flagships, but you get excellent Motorola quality. But it is more than I want to spend right now since I have a Moto X, so I'm probably skipping this one for now.cough-overpriced-cough
At least from Google. Maybe the contract price on carriers will make it palatable.
Can you link that page? I don't see anything about Qi on the Moto blog.
Wow that price!!! But you know what?? I'm still getting it. I been waiting for an upgrade for what it seems like an eternity. This is my next phone.
where are we getting prices from? If its from a carrier remember the nexus 5 off contact was like 500 bucks
Such a massive disappointment if that $650 is the final off contract price. I thought Google was hoping to encourage people to quit contracts and get $299/349/399 phones off contract. That OPO suddenly looks much better despite the terrible marketing they have. Oppo also has something coming up this month, so I suppose I will hang on to the Nexus 4 longer than expected
Edit: No Nexus 5 in stock and no Android 5 for the Nexus 4 is just salt to this wound lol
I don't know where you get that info from, but the OPO was extremely smooth to me with no crashes or freezes, it's still the fastest phone today. There were some minor issues when it was released but the updates fixed all that.OPO seems insanely buggy to me. I was interested...specs/price is right, but too afraid of constant crashes and freezes to go for it.
Little disappointed by price, since assuredly the 64 GB version will clock in around $699+ but I'm still getting one. Quite excited. Lack of wireless charging is rather concerning though.
Nexus 6: 159 x 82.98 x 10.06 mm ( 6.26 x 3.27 x 0.36 in)
Dimensions, here are the Note 4's for comparison
Note 4: 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5 mm (6.04 x 3.09 x 0.33 in)
Definitely big but not by much. I think I'll be okay with it.
It has Qi.I don't know where you get that info from, but the OPO was extremely smooth to me with no crashes or freezes, it's still the fastest phone today. There were some minor issues when it was released but the updates fixed all that.
No wireless charging no buy. I was going to not root and use stock Android on my device away, and the Moto X offers me that already.
