Google Shamu: Motorola Nexus 6 (Nexus X)

Do you know if this will go on sale tomorrow? Or just announced tomorrow? I still wonder if it will have wireless charging and if it will have an LED light...
I really hope it has wireless charging... Google is said to be heavily invested in the technology so I am very optimistic..

As for on sale tomorrow? I dunno... I just know I went in and made sure my credit card information is all up to date in Google play so I am ready to rock and roll if that little "BUY ME" button lights up.....

Dont know about the rest of you, but since we already know the specs mostly, I'm much more concerned about Verizon availability, whether or not Verizon will screw it up, and launch date.

Also the rumors say N9 is the first L device, so that points to N6 being available around mid November.

I love the blog post way of doing a release........ It's simple... why waste money on a big "Event" People are going to buy these devices regardless if there is an EVENT or not.... Just release a bunch of pictures and a detailed spec sheet with pricing and an "ORDER NOW" button and lets go...

I disagree. This is Google, they have tons of cash, money is not even remotely an issue. Nexus launch is always a new Android version launch, an event builds their brand image and lets normal people (who don't follow tech blogs) know what's up.

And this is Android's biggest release, not having an event to show off the features seems really strange. Apple goes on stage and shows off every tiny little thing with as much hype as possible, as a result they get great press. Android features are barely known. Google doesn't even have a page listing them.

They didn't do a press event to announce KitKat or the Nexus 5...... Just a blog post and a website to order it..... They did a very low key event earlier in the year for the Nexus 7, 2013....

It's not about Money... I've posted numerous times... Google has money ($58.7 billion in cash on hand at the end of the second quarter) a million spent on an "Event" would be like me splurging for a piece of gum from the gumball machine....

With Apple or Samsung these are not only flagship devices but drive a very large % of their income and profits..... Not so much with Google.. Their income is driven from Ad revenue.... It's not important for Nexus to make a major splash.... They also have to keep those partners like Samsung, HTC, Sony, LG and such happy and not make it out as if they are trying to compete with them..... so keeping it low key is the way I think Google wants to keep the Nexus program.... (Totally my opinion here)

So do we have any confirmation the reveal is tomorrow? All this waiting and refreshing is a real productivity killer :)

Looks like a 2nd-gen Moto X. Definitely not the Nexus 6.

First of all the device itself in the picture is just too small to be the N6. Also, the side buttons again are not centered enough, and the geometric shapes for back, home, and multi are too big relative to the screen. On leaked real photos of the Nexus 6, the shapes are smaller compared to the screen.

That looks a lot like the Moto X (2014) with an Android L theme. The power/volume buttons looks to be too high on the device to be the Nexus 6?

Is this another "leak" by TK? If so, you can pretty guarantee that it's not the Nexus.

Hes uploaded a video of it next to the iphone 6 plus and it looks around about the same size
