It would take a lot for me to change my mind, but Moto X Pure Edition, probs.
Would also be nice if either that or the Nexus 6 had Band 12 enabled for TMo. Not counting on it though.

I'm curious about band 12 as well. But I doubt I'll get this either way. I'm fine with my Nexus 5 for now. I might grab a BB passport as a second device though.

What I usually do is get a SIM only deal from any network which offers the best stuff and then I buy the phone I like through Amazon and stick the SIM in and I'm ready. And whenever I want a new phone I return it to Amazon ( they allow two year return window for electronics) and get a new phone so I'm always updated with the best plan and phone

you can do that with most carriers - the ones that are device-friendly. the best for that IMO are - AT&T GoPhone, T-Mobile, and Straight Talk (AT&T). i use AT&T GoPhone - $60/month after all discounts/taxes/fees for Unlimited Talk/Text, 2.5GB 4G LTE, Hotspot. $10/month for each extra 1GB 4G LTE as needed.

Verizon does not allow BYOD at this time. Sprint just sucks IMO.
