google talk group chat closes app

Hey guys..so I've had the driod x for 3 days now and ever since yesterday everytime I join a group chat I get an error" process com.google.android.talk has closed unexpectedly." Thinking it was the phone, vzw swapped it for a new one, but im still getting the error. Anyone know how I can fix this?

I see nobody has replied yet. I'm having this issue on my Evo & I had the same problem on my Epic before I sold it. It seems to be an issue with the 2.2 Froyo OS, because it was fine before I ran the update on my Epic.
