Google to shut down the Google Maps Engine ?

I have heard that Google to shut down the Google Maps Engine.
What does it mean ?
Can we will be not use Google Maps in near future ?

I'm guessing you're referring to the Google Maps Coordinate field-worker tool: Google Maps Coordinate field-worker tool is closing down. In other words, Google Maps isn't going away anytime soon.

No... don't confuse tje Google Maps app/web site with the technology that runs it... Google is just replacing older tech with newer tech. Don't get hung up on naming conventions.
