Just got this email from htc

I checked our knowledge base along with the Google website (https://support.google.com/wallet/bin/answer.py? hl=en&answer=1347934). Unfortunately, your device has been pulled from the eligibility list; and you should be aware that this decision has been made by Google. If you have any other questions about Google Wallet, I urge you to contact them. I do apologize for any inconvenience that you have experienced.

Maybe we should contact sprint and complain that we want ability to swap to S111 because this was a selling point that is not working

Google already announced we will get an update that will fix this issue sometime this month.. go to the wallet app in the market an it's there under description
