Has anyone tried using this on the Turbo. I tried my first time every at a McDonalds that has the paypass reader. Nothing happen when my phone was against the reader. My app says tap and pay is reader for my selected credit card. Also I have NFC turned on.

Just wonder if me or the cashier did something wrong or if the reader they had is working at all. Or does Verizon block this. I disabled Softcard as it doesn't see good to me.

Is there something a cashier has to do like select a payment type. I may try at another place.

They should select credit.

Process :

Tap your phone to the payment thing (no need to unlock/open wallet ahead of time, but I usually do ahead of time otherwise you have to do it after tapping)

Then select credit

Then it will process as fast as a normal credit card

Also you may need to remove the plastic screen protector that came with the phone.

I know it works for some people. Buddy had to show me Tap & Pay using his new feature. He got bought cokes from a vending machine. I have to admit it was faster than my method of using money.

Also, I confirmed he had removed the plastic screen protector that came with the phone.

Hilarious! PS. I didn't know coke was legal now, and you can buy it in vending machines with tap to pay???

What else are they legislating in DC? ;)

PPS. Go vote!

So I need to face the screen up to the reader. I had the back of the phone (ballistic nylon side) up against the reader. I don't have any screen protector though.

The back of the phone is where the NFC antenna is, although I assume it would work from the front since the phone isn't that thick.

Wholefoods has it? I didn't know that ... There is one around the corner from me.

I may have to try Tap & Pay there :).

Was at Whole Foods today. Cashier tells me it is only for Apple Pay and requires an iTrash 6 to work.
