There's a nasty shiny mark on the back and a few shiny blemishes here and there. Any way to remove them? I have tried microfiber and water with no success. Will try a pencil eraser when I find one. Also, the HTC charger was sealed cleanly, but turns out it has a lot of dust stuck to it. All my other chargers are usually super clean with no dust when tearing open the package. I am suspicious I got a refurb unit of some kind. The serial is HT24 and the firmware is an old 1.73.

The HTC one X's I received all had quality control issues. Dents, scratches, chips.... Smh... This is unacceptable for a flagship phone! I had to exchange it three times, and that's why I'm rocking a GS3.

Dude take it to the store and exchange it for a new one they will open it and examine the new one before you leave the store so you shouldn't have anymore issues it's your choice

I tried alcohol on a cotton swab on my white to get out newspaper ink. You can also try magic eraser. Mr clean makes it I think
